Summary: Neymar was accused of trying to force a Nike employee to perform oral sex on him in hotel in NYC. When she refused, he tried to prevent her from leaving/chased her down the hall as she ran. Nike was aware of the allegations against him in 2018 when the female employee came forward, but initially asked Nike not to pursue an investigation. The female employee changed her mind in 2019 and Nike began an internal investigation.
Organization Response: No action from Ligue 1 or PSG who he was with in 2018 when the victim came forward with allegations. However, Nike terminated their contract with him on August 31st, 2020.

Summary: Professional runner Mary Cain joined the Nike Oregon project and began to receive coaching under Salazar. During the period she was part of the project, Salazar routinely subjected Cain to public humiliation, forcing her to weigh herself infront of an audience and then openly criticizing her. He would also control her food intake and try to prevent her from seeking her parents support or advice. There were other allegations of sexual and emotional harassment which resulted in a lifelong coaching ban from United States Center for SafeSport.
Organization Response: Salazar was fired from the project and after more allegations about sexual misconduct surfaced, he was indefinitely banned from coaching athletics.
